HL 103 Fitting Loss Training Panel

Four measured sections are fitted to the panel, each comprising ten elbows and bends in different layouts. The overall length of each section is the same. It is possible to measure the pressure loss and to investigate the effects of material, surface roughness and flow rate.

  The water flows through a pipe with a valve and flow meter before passing through the measured sections. The section under test is connected with a hose.
