ET 860 Steam Boiler Safety & Control

The unit has been developed and built in accordance with the German technical regulations for steam and boilers (TRD 602).

  The normal operation of a boiler as well as malfunctions in the water level and pressure sections of the boiler that trip the safety control system can be demonstrated. In this context, the term "safety control system" is used to describe the following: the boiler is monitored and operated by safety devices connected in series. All parts used as safety device are original parts with TRD approval.

  In addition to the safety devices it is possible to switch in up to 15 system faults. Various fault conditions in system components can be simulated and their identification practiced.

  The measured values are transmitted directly to a PC via USB. The data acquisition software is included.
